We visited a school this morning and got to get our first glimpse of Australian education. This afternoon we did a great deal of things. For most of us it was just walking around the city and trying to just see everything the city has to offer. Others found the time to purchase some famous Australian Opals (don't worry it was an adult). We would like to wish Dr. Richard a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today.

This morning we went to a school and Sydney. The afternoon found us doing a large variety of things. 8 of us chose to brave the Sydney Harbor Bridge for a climb while others of us stayed on the gound and shopped. For those who did the climb it was an experience to remember.

We went and toured the Opera House this morning and then went our seperate ways. The majority of us visited the Sydney Zoo. The animals were really interesting. We then got to expereince the Symphony at the Sydney Opera House. We all dressed up and got to listen to some wonderful music.

June 2 - 3
We visited the Blue Montains today and got to ride on the world's steepest train while seeing some outstanding views. We then visited a koala park where we got to pet kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and dingos. We also got to eat some home cooked steaks near an open fire.

The next day we flew into Brisbane and visited the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. This was a highlight of the trip as most of us held a koala and got our picture taken with it. It was also a trying day as a few were attacked by various animals including Medusa the koala and a mob of kangaroos.
